City of Philadelphia Telephone Town Hall on Real Estate Tax Changes – March 11, 2013 at 6:55 PM

A live toll-free Telephone Town Hall is being offered by the City of Philadelphia, and is designed to inform Philadelphians about changes to the city’s real estate tax system (otherwise known as the Actual Value Initiative, or AVI). The Telephone Town Hall will be held Monday, March 11, 2013 from 6:55 PM to 7:55 PM, Eastern Standard Time. If you would like to listen into the Town Hall and/or pose a question to City officials, please register below. At the appointed time, you will receive a phone call allowing you to access the Town Hall. Those calling in will be able to ask questions about the assessment process, the new property values assigned to all properties – residential, commercial and industrial – in the city, the Homestead Exemption, and changes to the property tax rate here in Philadelphia. If you are not able to attend, a second Telephone Town Hall will be held on March 27, 2013, and pre-registration for that meeting will open March 12.
